Why This Mission Is Personal to Me
My commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease is deeply personal.
My mother-in-law, Julia Kaye, lived with Parkinson’s disease. Watching someone you love navigate the physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges of Parkinson’s changes you forever. As her daughter-n-law, I witnessed firsthand the importance of compassionate care, strong support systems, education, and advocacy—not only for the person living with the disease, but for the entire family.
Her journey inspired me to dedicate my career to helping older adults and their loved ones navigate the often-complex world of aging, caregiving, and senior living options with dignity and confidence.
Today, I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors for the Parkinson’s Foundation Southwest Chapter. Through this role, and through Connections In Homecare & Communities, I am committed to helping families access trusted resources, quality care, and the support they need at every stage of the Parkinson’s journey.
My mother’s strength, resilience, and grace continue to inspire the work we do every day. It is in her memory, and in honor of all families affected by Parkinson’s disease, that we proudly serve as a Community Care Partner of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
